No worries, just be sure you do :)
I'm excited to get PS2 backwards compatibility! I hope they can extract the emulator/software from the older 60GB consoles now that it's hacked and somehow make it usable for the rest of us.. that' be AWESOME! :D -

Yes. Mark 2 is a certification for faster MSPD cards that meet minimum write requirements. It doesn't rate read speeds, as far as I know, so that won't make the card any faster to use for ISO/CSO files, except when saving games or anything that writes to the card from within gameplay.
However, I'm having trouble finding a 16GB non-Mark 2 card, so might as well just grab what you can get. -

I'd hack mine for PS2 compatibility.
I read about this days ago on George's site. He already released the hack, but it's up to devs to make the hack 'end user usable'.
Very excited!

PS: Stevo, quit hotlinking images. Upload them to imageshack.us or images.pspscene.net. -

16GB "real" MSPD's can be had on Amazon for about $55 USD. There are real ones out there, and even the fake ones should work for you.. still, I'd pay the extra few dollars and buy from a reputable site.
